How to Extend Swimsuit Life
How to Extend the Life of your Swimwear
Do rinse swimwear as soon as possible with Suit Saver after swimming in chlorine to eliminate the residual chlorine left in the suit.
Do handwash swimwear. Always rinse or wash out in a sink of water in which Suit Saver is added.
Don't wring or twist the water out of your swimsuit. Just squeese the water out.
Don't wash swimwear in a washing machine. The agitation will stretch lycra and elastic beyond its ability to recouperate.
Don't dry swimwear in a dryer. A dryer will destroy the elastic/lycra almost as quickly as chlorine and has a negative affect on the cotton or polyester fabric.
Don't dry in the sun. Dry in the shade.
Don't put a wet swimsuit on a hanger to dry; lie it flat or hang the suit over a chair, etc.
Never put a wet or still damp swimsuit in a drawer, and if it smells at all of chlorine the fabric is still under attack. Always remove chlorine from swimwear with Suit Saver and allow the suit to dry completely prior to putting it away.
Once you find a swimsuit that you really like, take care of it properly and it will last much longer with Suit Saver.
